Happy Friday and welcome to the first post of the year!
2015 has been so good to me and I'm so excited to make this year the best I've ever had. Taking initiative and being more adventurous are two of my New Year's resolutions, not only in my personal life but with the blog as well. I haven't posted nearly as much as I would have liked to but I can't wait to really delve into this creative outlet for 2016.
To kickstart the new year on a productive note, I figured I would whip up a post wearing my usual all black. You know my "go to" is a LBD and a biker jacket by now, right? That brings me to another New Year's resolution of mine: experiment more with my look! I guess we'll all see how that goes...
Downtown Los Angeles is one of my favorite places to shop, eat, and people watch. It is in the process of reinventing itself and I love every bit of it. On this day of strolling through the city, I wore one of my many LBD's. This lightweight chambray dress is so easy to throw on and go. Pairing it with my favorite clutch and the perfect summer hat that I scored for $15 makes this my go to look for the season.
Graffiti Cafe LA has definitely made its way to my list of "must go to" coffee shops and believe me when I say, I have many. I cringe inside when I think of how much money I spend on coffee on the regular. *Sigh* But moving on, I came with my lovely friend, Kat, of the blog As Long As it Lasts and we both fell in love with the space. I'm a sucker for monochromatic interiors and their iced almond milk latte was perfection!
We of course hung out for a while, talked up future blog posts, and (as girls do) took a few pictures. Check out Kat's chic style and more cafe interior inspiration photos on her upcoming post!
Now excuse me while I try and recreate a half decent latte from home.
